| In April I returned to the landscape of my
childhood holidays - the coast and woodlands of North Devon, visiting 4
locations that had left a 20 year impression. Before the trip, I worked from
memory, then explored the places with extra fascination as I realised how my
mind had evened out the landscape, but remembered the juxtaposition of land and
sea, church and wood, trackway and river. |
